cetirizine is an active metabolite of hydroxyzine with strong and long work. Is a selective antihistamine, peripheral H1 receptor antagonist with low sedative effect on pharmacologically active doses and has additional properties as an anti-allergy. Cetirizine inhibit histamine release in the early phase and reduce inflammatory cell migration.

Dosage:
Adults and children รข‰¥ 12 years: 1 x daily 1 capsule Over dosage – Drowsiness may occur in the use of a single dose of 50 mg . – Can occur agitation in children. – In cases of severe overdose, there is no specific antidote but gastric drain can be accompanied by other supportive therapy.
Indications:
Cetaler indicated for the treatment of perennial rhinitis, allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
