Fusidic Acid
Fusidic acid is a bacteriostatic antibiotic. Fusidic acid is only effective on bacteriaStaphylococcus and Corynebacterium.
Indications:
For treating various types of infections caused by bacteria, especially yng caused by the bacterium Staphylococcus and Corynebacterium.
Dosage:
Fusidate Na: 500 mg by slow injection through a vein (intra-vascular), repeat every 24hours, 500 mg by mouth (orally), 3 times a day
Maximum dose: 2 g / day
Side Effects:
GI effects (mild GI disturbances); hepatic effects (jaundice and changes in liver function returned to normal when the drug is stopped pengonsumsian).
Special Instructions:
Use with caution in patients with liver dysfunction and hepatic function monitoring in these patients is recommended if the use in high doses or extended
