Salicylates acid



Salicylic acid is used to treat skin disorders like psoriasis, acne, dandruff, dermatitis, seborrheic skin and scalp, calluses, and plantar warts.

Packaging

This product is available in the form of Soap, Lotion, Liquid, foam, ointment, gel or jelly, solution, cream, Koyo, Shampoo

Dose

Cream dosage form:

For calluses:

Adults and children: Use 2 to 10% cream as needed. Use 25 to 60% cream one time every three to five days.

Gel dosage form:

For acne: Adults and children: Use one 0.5 to 5% gel daily.

For psoriasis: Adults and children: Use a 5% gel once daily.

For common warts: Adults and children-Use one time 5 to 26% gel daily.

Lotion dosage form:

For acne: Adults and children: Use 1 to 2% lotion 1-3 times a day.

For dandruff and scalp dermatitis antiseborrhic: Adults and children: Use 1.8 to 2% lotion on the scalp one or two times a day.

Ointment dosage form:

For acne: Adults and children: Use 3 to 6% ointment as needed.

For psoriasis and seborrheic skin: Adults and children: Use 3 to 10% ointment as needed.

For ordinary warts: Adults and children: Use 3 to 10% ointment as needed. Use 25 to 60% ointment one time every three to five days.

Patch dosage forms:

For acne: Adults and children: Use 1-3 times a day.

Plaster dosage form:

For calluses, common warts, or plantar warts: Adults and children: Use once daily or one time every day.

Shampoo dosage forms:

For dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp: Adults and children-Use on the scalp one or two times a week.

Soap dosage forms:

For acne: Adults and children: Use as needed.

Solution dosage forms:

For acne: Adults and children: Use a topical solution of 0.5 to 2% 1-3 times a day.

For regular warts and plantar warts: Adults and children: Use a topical solution 5 to 27% once or twice a day.

For calluses: Adults and children: Use 12-27% topical solution one or two times a day.
