Nebivolol

:

Nebivolol including a group of drugs called beta-blockers. This drug works by slowingthe heart and reduce the amount of blood pumped out. This helps reduce bloodpressure, helps the heart pump more efficiently, and reduce the heart’s workload.

Indications:

To treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Dosage:

Initial dose: 5 mg by mouth (orally), 1 times daily

May increase the dose at a distance of 2 weeks to 40 mg by mouth (orally) 1 times aday, if necessary.

Side Effects:

CNS effects (fatigue, depression, dizziness, confusion, sleep disturbances); CV effects(heart failure, hypothermia, impotence); Securities row (bronchospasma in patients who are susceptible and drug content of beta1 should be used cautiously in these patients );Securities GI (N / V, diarrhea, constipation); metabolic effects (can produce hyper-orhypoglycemia, changes in serum cholesterol and triglycerides.

Special Instructions:

Berkontra-indications in patients with acute bradycardia, which has a high degree AVblock, sinus syndrome, which is not stable LV failure.

Use with caution in patients with bronchopasma, asthma or other respiratory illnesses.Use with caution in depressed patients, patients with PVD (peripheral vascular disease)and patients taking insulin.

Beta-blockers may cover up the symptoms of hyperthyroidism and hypoglycemia, andmay aggravate psoriasis.

Patients in long-term treatment should not stop the use of all of a sudden, had to stopgradually over 1-2 weeks.
