Vidagliptin is anti-hiperglikemik oral agent from a new group of drugs known as DPP-IV(dipeptyl peptidase-IV) inhibitors. Vidagliptin reduce the concentration of blood sugar byincreasing the influence of ’incretins’.
Indications:
To treat diabetes mellitus type 2 (non-insulin dependent).
Dosage:
50 mg via oral (per oral) 1-2 times a day
Implementation:
Be consumed with or without food.
Side Effects:
Dizziness, constipation, arthralgia
Special Instructions:
Not recommended in patients with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) type 1, diabeticketoacidosis, severe liver damage, and ESRD
